Your health data is yours. We don't want it, we don't collect it, and we never see it.

Our Core Principle

DueDateTool.org is designed with privacy as the default. All calculations happen in your web browser. Your health data — including last period dates, conception dates, IVF transfer dates, cycle lengths, and any notes you enter — is never sent to our servers.

We literally cannot see your data. We don't have a database. We don't store health information. We don't even have server-side code that processes your inputs.

What Data We Collect

None of your health data.

The only data we collect is:

  • Anonymous usage analytics: Page views, tool usage counts, and general traffic patterns. This is aggregated and cannot identify individual users.
  • Technical logs: Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, access time) for security and performance monitoring. These are automatically deleted after 30 days.

Local Storage

If you choose to use the "Save Calculation" feature, your data is stored in your browser's local storage. This means:

  • Data stays on your device
  • Data is not synced to our servers
  • Data is not accessible to us
  • You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings

To clear local storage: Chrome/Edge → Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data → Select "Cookies and other site data."

Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies. We do not use third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel). The only cookies we use are:

  • Essential cookies: For basic site functionality (if applicable)
  • Preference cookies: To remember your display preferences (if you set any)

Third-Party Services

We do not share your data with third parties. However, our site is hosted on:

  • GitHub Pages: For static file hosting
  • Vercel/Netlify: For CDN and edge delivery (if applicable)

These services may collect standard server logs as part of their infrastructure. We do not have access to individual user data from these logs.

Advertising

We may display advertisements to support the site. If we do:

  • Ads are served through third-party networks (e.g., Google AdSense)
  • These networks may use cookies to personalize ads
  • We do not share your health data with advertisers
  • You can opt out of personalized ads through your browser settings or Google Ads Settings
